About the role#
The Fitzwater Center is hiring 8 students to serve as Assistant Producers for the Raven Sports Network during the Fall 2026 term. You will work alongside a team of camera operators to support live coverage for field hockey, football, and soccer. This is a paid, on-site position for students at Franklin Pierce University.
What you'll do#
- Prepare a run-of-show for each assigned game.
- Attend all production meetings and professional development sessions.
- Load graphics before the Friday morning production meetings.
- Manage equipment inventory, including transport to the press box and setup one hour before gametime.
- Handle audio and content switching during live games.
- Monitor talent and tear down all equipment in a professional manner.
- Remain on-call to cover unexpected staff absences or schedule changes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Franklin Pierce University.
- Prior experience with sports media technology.
- A valid driver's license to operate a van or shuttle for equipment and staff transport.
- Ability to handle physical equipment setup.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
- Majors in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Kinesiology, or Business Administration are preferred.
