About the role#
The Commercial Credit Analyst Intern joins our credit analyst teams to build core skills and gain practical knowledge of bank business practices. You will work on projects, attend educational sessions, and perform duties assigned by your manager to learn how our credit group operates.
What you'll do#
- Perform fundamental credit analysis tasks.
- Prepare loan presentation packets, known as credit memos, for new requests, renewals, and annual reviews.
- Spread and analyze financial information for borrowers, guarantors, and related entities.
- Monitor loan covenants to ensure borrower compliance with loan agreements.
- Verify the accuracy of financial data within our credit systems.
- Engage with staff in Operations, Relationship Management, and Loan Documentation to understand the loan lifecycle.
- Complete a department specific project.
- Participate in corporate internship activities, including workshops, community outreach, and department meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a university student or recent graduation.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Unrestricted work authorization (sponsorship is not available for this role).
