About the role#
The Content Marketing Intern will work with our team to create content that provides value to customers and prospects. You will support marketing events, brand design, and social media campaigns while gaining experience in a banking environment.
What you'll do#
- Capture behind-the-scenes content at events, including volunteer and intern activities.
- Identify and pitch stories for intern spotlight features.
- Engage with our community by commenting on posts and responding to interactions on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Ideate and film content for TikTok and Instagram stories.
- Develop posts for Threads.
- Create rules for social media contests and coordinate with legal for approvals.
- Recommend trends suitable for the bank to adopt.
- Review competitor social media to gather insights.
- Monitor for sensitive or high-risk topics and develop an understanding of reputational risk.
What you'll need#
- Strong familiarity with Facebook, Threads, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging social platforms.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on grammar and sentence structure.
- Ability to work as a proactive self-starter in a team environment.
- Capacity to learn new organizational processes and adapt to changing business demands.
- Unrestricted work authorization (no sponsorship required).
- Graphic design experience is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based in Omaha, Nebraska, at the FN Tower.
- We operate in a hybrid capacity, with three days of in-person collaboration and two days of remote work per week.
- Majors in Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies are preferred.
