About the role#
FNBO is seeking Technology Interns for Summer 2027. This program runs from May through August and is designed for students attending Nebraska universities who reside in the Omaha area. You will work alongside experienced IT professionals on real projects and gain exposure to areas such as application development, infrastructure, and digital solutions. High-performing interns may be invited to join the FNBO Technology Cohort Program for extended learning and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with IT professionals on projects that impact customers.
- Contribute as a member of an agile scrum team.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers.
- Apply programming practices and learn development standards.
- Support ongoing modernization efforts and test process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Status as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An interest in learning programming concepts.
- Ability to work onsite weekly and attend scheduled summer events.
