About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work directly with a full-time member of the Research and Development team at Simple Mills. You will gain exposure to sensory science and product reviews while contributing to meaningful projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mill Valley, California.
What you'll do#
- Prepare, test, and evaluate various food and ingredient samples using established laboratory methods.
- Capture, report, and interpret data with a focus on accuracy.
- Collect analytical data and maintain detailed lab records.
What you'll need#
- You must be a rising junior or senior pursuing a 4-year degree in Agriculture, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and data processing skills.
- Organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Practical knowledge of bakery and lab equipment.
Location & details#
- Location: Mill Valley, California (On-site).
- Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour.
- Requirements: You must reside within 15 hours of Mill Valley prior to the start of the internship and possess reliable transportation.
