About the role#
This internship involves administrative work supporting research and review projects. You will focus on hospital policies, procedures, and department operations. The role supports regional operating markets, including hospitals, ambulatory practices, and strategic growth initiatives in Manhattan and Staten Island.
What you'll do#
- Collect and prepare data for departmental use.
- Assist in studies that evaluate the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of hospital operations and policies.
- Help management facilitate new programs or procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate junior or senior in Public Health, Business Administration, Health Administration, Health Services Management, or Biology.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications.
- Good communication skills.
- An interest in healthcare operations and strategy.
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June through August).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Locations: New Hyde Park, NY and New York, NY.
- Note: No stipend is provided for lodging, travel, or meals.
