About the role#
The First Officer serves as Second-in-Command on a Pilatus PC-24. This role focuses on the safe and efficient conduct of flight assignments, including the transport of time-sensitive medical cargo. You will assist the Captain in all aspects of flight operations, from pre-flight planning and aircraft airworthiness to weight and balance and post-flight procedures.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Captain in all phases of flight.
- Ensure compliance with company manuals, operations specifications, letters of authorization, and FAA regulations.
- Assist the clinical department and management with process improvements, new procedures, and the development of clinical services.
- Maintain responsibility for the timely pick-up and delivery of medical cargo.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land and Instrument ratings.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant technical experience, including 1,200 hours of total flight time, 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command time, 200 hours of turbine time, and 100 hours of multi-engine time.
- Working knowledge of FAA Part 135 and 91 regulations, flight planning software, electronic flight bags, and Microsoft Office.
- Preferred majors include Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance.
