About the role#
The First Officer assists the Captain with all flight operations for assigned routes. You will manage aircraft airworthiness, weight and balance, and the delivery of time-sensitive medical cargo. This role involves serving as the Second-in-Command on a Pilatus PC-24.
What you'll do#
- Conduct flight assignments safely and efficiently.
- Assist the Captain with pre-flight planning, in-flight duties, and post-flight procedures.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company manuals, and operational specifications.
- Help the clinical department and management develop new processes, tools, and techniques.
- Support clinical team members in establishing procedures for new tasks.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land and Instrument ratings.
- Minimum of 1,200 hours total flight time, 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time, 200 hours turbine time, and 100 hours multi-engine time.
- Working knowledge of FAA Part 135 and 91 regulations, flight planning software, electronic flight bags, and Microsoft Office.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant technical experience.
