SB Intern, First Officer

About the role#

The First Officer serves as Second-in-Command on a Pilatus PC-24, ensuring the safe and efficient conduct of each flight assignment. This role supports the Captain in all phases of flight, including pre-flight planning, in-flight operations, and post-flight procedures, with a focus on the transport of time-sensitive medical cargo.

What you'll do#

• Manage aircraft airworthiness, weight and balance, and flight route logistics.
• Ensure compliance with Company GOM, Operations specifications, LOAs, FAA regulations, and aircraft manuals.
• Assist the clinical department and management by recommending process improvements, new tools, and techniques.
• Support clinical team members in establishing procedures for new tasks.

What you'll need#

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-Engine Land and Instrument ratings.
• 3-5 years of relevant technical experience.
• Minimum of 1,200 hours total flight time, including 500 hours Pilot-in-Command, 200 hours turbine time, and 100 hours multi-engine time.
• Working knowledge of FAA Part 135 and 91 regulations, flight planning software, electronic flight bags, and Microsoft Office.
