About the role#
This internship supports the Family Medicine Service Line, which oversees clinical care, operations, strategy, and research for over 500 family physicians. You will perform administrative work focused on hospital policies, procedures, and department operations.
What you'll do#
- Collect and prepare data for department projects.
- Assist with studies that evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of hospital operations and policies.
- Help management implement new programs or procedures.
- Complete other related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate junior, senior, or graduate student.
- A major in public health, health administration, community health, business administration, or health sciences.
- Strong written and verbal communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Prior administrative experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Preferred skills include data entry, presentation abilities, and creative design experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop or iMovie.
- The ability to multi-task is preferred.

- Schedule: Part-time.
- Term: Winter 2027 through Spring 2027 (January 2027 to June 2027).
- This is a paid position. Please note that no stipend is provided for lodging, travel, or meals.
