About the role#
Fischer Homes is offering a full-time Field Manager Co-op or internship for Summer 2027. You will work alongside experienced Field Managers to oversee the new home construction process from start to finish. This role provides hands-on experience in a construction environment and requires regular travel to various job sites throughout the day.
What you'll do#
- Manage the new home build process by shadowing experienced Field Managers.
- Communicate project progress to trade partners, vendors, and customers.
- Complete PACE eLearning courses and participate in Sapphire training for scheduling, purchase order management, and warranty service administration.
- Observe home orientations and complete various job scopes to build your knowledge of home construction.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to use data to evaluate problems and find solutions.
- Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
- Physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs and ladders.
- Capacity to work in various weather conditions and navigate uneven terrain on construction sites, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
