About the role#
The Commercial Banking Intern assists the Commercial Banking, Commercial Credit, and retail Sales departments. You will support the team with various projects and day-to-day tasks to help provide financial services to customers.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial and data analysis.
- Help prepare for and participate in sales calls.
- Assist with proposal development and underwriting tasks.
- Support general department activities, including processing duties.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- 0 to 2 years of work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Prior experience in accounting within financial services or banking is a plus.
- Strong communication, cooperation, and workflow skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Westlake, Ohio.
- The role is on-site, five days a week, with typical hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
- You will work in an office setting where you may occasionally need to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
