About the role#
Five Star Bank is hiring a Wealth Management Summer Associate to join the Courier Capital team. This program prepares students for a career in financial services by providing exposure to fiduciary responsibilities, investment advisory, and estate planning. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support clients and gain hands-on experience in a community bank setting.
What you'll do#
- Conduct investment research and analysis to support portfolio management.
- Prepare financial plans, client reports, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate client meetings and handle routine service requests.
- Review estate planning documents and assist with trust administration.
- Support compliance and regulatory documentation tasks.
- Work with the team to improve administrative and operational processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with junior-level standing or higher preferred.
- At least one year of participation in clubs, volunteer work, or other extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling is a plus.
- A self-starter mindset with attention to detail and a desire to learn.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Buffalo, New York.
- The position follows a hybrid work model.
- Occasional travel within the corporate footprint, including Rochester, is required.
- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
