About the role#
The Commercial Middle Market Internship at Fifth Third Bank offers students exposure to banking disciplines through hands-on work experience. You will join a specific line of business or division, working on day-to-day activities and projects. What you'll do#
- Complete assignments as determined by your Assignment Leader.
- Manage and report on project status using project management skills.
- Participate in community volunteerism projects.
- Deliver a formal presentation to line of business or division leaders.
- Build a network of professional resources within your assigned division.
- Participate in leadership development activities and training sessions.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior scheduled to graduate in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- You have completed at least 1-2 years of college coursework.
- You maintain a strong academic record with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- You are pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- You demonstrate proficiency in critical thinking and business acumen.
- You have basic familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You are authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment-based sponsorship.

- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Dallas, Texas.
