    About the role#

    As a Student in Business Analysis, you will join the Information Services division at Fidelity Canada. You will gain hands-on experience supporting Software Delivery Life Cycle projects and scrum team deliverables. You will work under the guidance of experienced Business Analysts to connect business needs with technology solutions.

    What you'll do#

    • Support requirements gathering by participating in meetings with business stakeholders and IS team members.
    • Capture and document business and technical needs.
    • Assist with the documentation of requirements, including current versus future state, impact, and gap analysis.
    • Collaborate with QA partners to build test cases and conduct UAT activities.
    • Contribute fresh perspectives and ideas regarding AI automation and tooling for team initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in post-secondary programs such as Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
    • An analytical mindset with strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
    • Ability to multitask and manage timelines and deliverables.
    • Availability to work on a full-time basis for the duration of the term.
    • Familiarity with BABOK methodology, business analysis best practices, and exposure to group projects or case studies involving problem-solving or process mapping are considered assets.
