    About the role#

    As an I&C Commissioning Intern, you will work with our team in Houston to support the Cape Station development. You will contribute to the commissioning process as the plant comes online, helping organize records and startup data. This is a 12-week summer role where you will own a specific project and present your results to our leadership team at the end of the term.

    What you'll do#

    • Organize loop check, calibration, and turnover records for Cape Station.
    • Track punch list items and manage deviation closure.
    • Analyze ORC startup historian data to assist with alarm rationalization and cleanup.
    • Support the team with general commissioning documentation and reporting.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a rising Junior, Senior, Master's, MBA student graduating within the next year, or PhD candidate.
    • Preference for students pursuing Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degrees.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Comfort presenting technical work to stakeholders and leadership.
    • Ability to organize information and manage technical documentation.
    • Initiative and a willingness to adapt to new challenges.
    • A genuine interest in commissioning and plant startup processes.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Houston, Texas.
    • The term for this position is Summer 2027.
