About the role#
Fervo Energy is hiring an intern to join our Houston team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on small capital projects for Powerblock, gaining hands-on experience in how we build and execute energy infrastructure. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will manage a project from start to finish over 12 weeks. You will present your final results to our executive leadership and department leads at the end of the summer.
What you'll do#
- Support small capital project work for Powerblock.
- Assist with project scoping, budgeting, and schedule tracking.
- Help coordinate tasks between our engineering and field execution teams.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Junior, Senior, or Master's candidate graduating within the next year.
- You are pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You are comfortable presenting your work to stakeholders and leadership.
- You show initiative and adapt quickly to new challenges.
- You have a clear interest in project management and capital project execution.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
