About the role#
Fervo Energy is looking for a Strategy Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will own a project scoped with your manager on your first day and drive it for the full 12 weeks. You will work alongside teams building geothermal energy projects and present your findings to our executive leadership team at the end of the summer. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Houston.
What you'll do#
- Research markets to understand the competitive environment.
- Build models and presentations to support strategic decisions.
- Engage with external stakeholders including collaborators, policymakers, and community members.
- Identify policy and advocacy opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives and adapt to changing priorities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program.
- Ability to understand financial concepts, corporate strategy, and complex technology.
- A proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
