About the role#
The Drainage & Hydraulic Design Intern will provide technical and functional support to design activities in both field and office environments. You will assist senior designers with the development and review of project drawings, plans, and specifications while gaining exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing and reviewing design drawings, plans, and documentation under the supervision of senior designers.
- Support the documentation of changes and revisions to design plans.
- Contribute ideas and provide feedback during team discussions regarding design development and problem-solving.
- Research and select materials, finishes, and products for ongoing design projects.
- Collaborate with team members, consultants, and vendors to support various aspects of the design process.
- Organize, track, and maintain the inventory of design materials, samples, and supplies.
- Help update and maintain project schedules to ensure key design milestones are tracked and met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related Design field.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
