Drainage & Hydraulic Design Intern

About the role#

The Drainage & Hydraulic Design Intern provides technical and functional support to design activities in both the field and the office. You will assist with the development and review of project drawings, plans, and specifications while working under the guidance of senior designers.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the preparation and review of design drawings, plans, and related documentation.
• Support the documentation of changes and revisions to design plans.
• Research and select materials, finishes, and products for ongoing design projects.
• Contribute ideas and feedback during team discussions regarding design development and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with team members, consultants, and vendors throughout the design process.
• Organize, track, and maintain an inventory of design materials, samples, and supplies.
• Help update and maintain project schedules to ensure key design milestones are met.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Design, or enrollment in a Master’s program.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
