About the role#
The Drainage & Hydraulic Design Intern provides technical and functional support for design activities in both the field and the office. This role involves assisting with the development and review of project drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure project success.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the preparation and review of design drawings, plans, and related documentation under the guidance of senior designers.
- Support the research and selection of materials, finishes, and products for ongoing projects.
- Help update and maintain project schedules to ensure key design milestones are tracked and met.
- Organize, track, and maintain the inventory of design materials, samples, and supplies.
- Document changes and revisions to design plans and drawings.
- Contribute ideas and feedback during team discussions regarding design development and problem solving.
- Collaborate with team members, consultants, and vendors to support various aspects of the design process.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Design.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
