Drainage & Hydraulic Design Intern

About the role#

The Drainage & Hydraulic Design Intern provides technical and functional support to design activities in both the field and the office. You will work under the supervision of senior designers to assist with the development and review of project drawings, plans, and specifications.

What you'll do#

• Assist with preparing and reviewing design drawings, plans, and related documentation.
• Support the research and selection of materials, finishes, and products for ongoing design projects.
• Help update and maintain project schedules to ensure key design milestones are tracked and met.
• Assist in organizing, tracking, and maintaining an inventory of design materials, samples, and supplies.
• Support the documentation of changes and revisions to design plans and drawings.
• Contribute ideas and feedback during team discussions regarding design development and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with team members, consultants, and vendors to support various aspects of the design process.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Design, or enrolled in a Master’s program.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
