About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship program at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. You will gain direct exposure to our operations and contribute to your assigned department through project-based assignments. The program includes professional development activities aligned with our mission and offers the chance to build relationships with subject matter experts, Bank leadership, and other interns.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to your assigned department through project-based work.
- Interpret data and analytics to tell stories and support decision-making.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner.
- Present information verbally and answer questions for small to medium groups.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited program with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A minimum GPA of 2.75.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency status.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the full 10 to 12 week duration.
- Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Majors in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
