About the role#
The Richmond Fed is hiring a part-time intern to support the economic business survey team. This role runs from January through May 2027. You will help the bank understand economic activity and the outlook of regional business leaders. This position offers experience in communication, research, and writing within a central banking environment. You will also participate in leadership training and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Contact businesses via phone and email to recruit them for the survey panel.
- Maintain contact with existing panel members to encourage continued participation.
- Help design and launch marketing strategies to boost survey engagement.
- Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of your outreach efforts.
- Assist with the analysis of participant data to identify response trends.
- Perform literature reviews on survey methodology.
- Attend training sessions focused on survey techniques.

- Compensation: $23.50 per hour.
