About the role#
Farm Credit Illinois is hiring a Marketplace Engagement Intern for the summer of 2027. This full-time, paid position is based at our headquarters in Mahomet, Illinois. You will work with our team to support marketing efforts, analyze industry trends, and engage with our farmer-members. This role involves travel across the southern 60 counties of Illinois, including attendance at the Illinois FFA State Convention.
What you'll do#
- Analyze market trends and work with lending and insurance teams to find growth opportunities.
- Create and run targeted marketing campaigns, including graphic design and video production tasks.
- Manage social media content and track campaign performance.
- Assist with data management and the archiving of marketing materials.
- Explore the agricultural sector in central and southern Illinois.
- Participate in the Illinois FFA State Convention from June 8 to June 10.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Intent to remain enrolled as a student in the fall of 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include marketing, communications, agricultural business, or agricultural communications.
Location & details#
- Location: Mahomet, Illinois.
- Term: May 17, 2027, to August 5, 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Work Modality: On-site with required travel in the region.
- Housing: You must secure summer housing in or around Champaign County.
