About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in procurement processes, financial analysis, and compliance within a financial services organization. You will work on projects related to purchasing and third-party risk management, gaining insight into how procurement contributes to cost optimization and risk management in a regulated industry.
What you'll do#
- Support supplier onboarding and the maintenance of supplier records.
- Analyze spend data to identify cost saving opportunities.
- Assist in updating procurement policies and procedures.
- Support contract management efforts, including the remediation of the contract repository.
- Support procurement reporting and the creation of dashboards for management review.
- Assist with requirements gathering and documentation for system enhancements.
- Participate in company events and training sessions scheduled for interns.
What you'll need#
- Official enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Pursuing a major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work on-site.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, as no visa sponsorship is provided.
