About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at the Commercial Bank at F.N.B. Corporation, specifically within the Specialty Finance segment. The program focuses on Asset-Based Lending and Equipment Finance. You will gain practical experience in credit analysis and underwriting while applying your academic knowledge of business and finance to real-world scenarios.
What you'll do#
- Perform credit training, financial spreads, and analysis, including cash flow and collateral assessments.
- Work alongside credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders to track and manage the commercial portfolio.
- Shadow commercial lenders and business partners on outside business calls.
- Interact with various business partners, including Private Banking, Treasury Management, and Wealth/Brokerage.
- Engage with Commercial Administration management, including regional executives and market managers.
- Complete project assignments in conjunction with your rotations.
- Participate in corporate training and networking events scheduled for summer interns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Academic focus in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Zero years of prior experience required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that sponsorship for employment-based visas is not provided.
