About the role#
This summer internship offers a college student the opportunity to explore the Commercial Bank at F.N.B. Corporation, with a focus on credit analysis and underwriting. You will apply your academic knowledge of business and finance to real-world scenarios while gaining practical work experience in a professional banking environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in credit and systems training.
- Work with credit analysts, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders to track and administer the commercial portfolio.
- Shadow commercial lenders or their business partners on outside business calls.
- Interact with business partners in areas such as Private Banking, Treasury Management, Wealth/Brokerage, and Business Banking.
- Analyze pricing decisions, financial data, qualitative information, and credit risk mitigation.
- Engage with Commercial Administration management, including regional executives and market managers.
- Participate in scheduled events and training sessions for summer interns.
What you'll need#
- Current official enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, as the company does not provide visa sponsorship.
