About the role#
The Internal Audit Internship offers students hands-on experience across the audit lifecycle at F.N.B. Corporation. You will be assigned to one of four audit delivery teams, including Shared Services, Risk/Compliance, Business, or Technology. Throughout the summer, you will collaborate with audit professionals and business partners to develop a foundation in risk management, internal controls, and corporate governance.
What you'll do#
- Participate in planning activities, including the preparation of engagement communications and request lists.
- Attend meetings and walkthroughs with audit clients and business stakeholders to understand processes and risks.
- Perform transactional, operational, and functional testing of business activities and controls.
- Prepare electronic work papers, including indexing and cross-referencing.
- Support data analytics activities by developing, executing, and interpreting reports.
- Contribute to the development of audit conclusions and reporting deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Academic focus in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
