About the role#
This internship provides a rotation through the various functions of the Accounting team at F.N.B. Corporation. You will apply your academic knowledge to real-world banking scenarios while gaining practical experience in financial reporting, tax accounting, and internal controls. This is a full-time, paid summer position based in Pittsburgh.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to month-end financial reporting, including financial close packets and 10-q drafts.
- Prepare daily reconciliations and handle accounts payable processing.
- Assist with tax return preparation and Schedule M-3 documentation.
- Update existing accounting policies and conduct accounting research.
- Support the administration of SOX 302 certifications and document SOX controls.
- Participate in intern training sessions and bank-related events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor program.
- Major in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or Information Technology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with effective decision-making abilities.
