About the role#
Expand Energy is hiring an intern for our Corporate Development team. This role provides hands-on experience in research, financial analysis, and strategic support. You will work directly with staff to assist in evaluating business opportunities and developing growth initiatives within the oil and gas sector.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate potential M&A opportunities through financial modeling and valuation analysis.
- Perform due diligence and draft financial reports or presentations.
- Research market trends, risks, and competitor positioning to inform our strategy.
- Support the creation of business cases and strategic plans for senior management.
- Manage project tasks, track progress, and ensure deliverables meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present your findings to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- You must have a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Spring, Texas.
- The position operates on a rolling basis.
