About the role#
As an Accounting Intern, you will gain experience in a corporate environment by working with our Corporate, Revenue, and Operations Accounting teams. This role focuses on using data, automation, and technical tools to improve business processes. You will learn how technology supports accounting operations while contributing to projects that increase the accuracy and scalability of our workflows.
What you'll do#
- Automate existing workflows and develop new reporting solutions.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Enhance the efficiency and scalability of accounting processes.
- Explain technical or analytical concepts to business partners.
- Formulate and communicate practical, cost-effective ideas to improve accounting and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Academic experience or a basic understanding of Python, SQL, R, or similar tools.
- Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization and reporting tools.
- A strong interest in workflow automation and process improvement.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
