About the role#
Expand Energy is hiring a Tax Intern to join our team in Oklahoma City. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience in tax research and accounting analysis. You will work directly with staff to support our tax department while gaining exposure to the oil and gas industry.
What you'll do#
- Prepare workpapers to support tax calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and various reports.
- Analyze general ledger data and other accounting records.
- Research tax rules and forms.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.
- Your cumulative GPA is 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- You must graduate on or after December 2027.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn company-specific software applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative and sound judgment.
- Ability to work effectively with co-workers and external contacts.
