About the role#
This internship provides exposure to various functions within the Supply Chain discipline at Expand Energy. You will gain experience across planning, strategic sourcing, materials management, market intelligence, and procurement. The role involves supporting internal groups including Supply Chain Business Services, SCM Operations, and SCM Strategies and Planning.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate and forecast supply market factors using statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with suppliers and the legal team to finalize commercial terms and manage risks.
- Prepare analytical reports, briefing notes, and correspondence.
- Research competitive intelligence, market reports, and trade periodicals.
- Track performance related to spend, supply markets, costs, and supplier tiers.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and data trends.
- Assist in leveraging buying power to optimize costs and reduce lead times.
- Support supplier selection and negotiation processes.
- Provide sourcing advice and recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize projects, and work independently or within a team.
- Previous industry or internship experience is preferred.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- Positions are located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, or Spring, Texas.
- This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
