About the role#
Exos offers a 12-16 week internship program based at our Performance Center in Colorado Springs. This role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week on-site. You will gain experience in a strength and conditioning environment, working with athletes ranging from youth to professional levels. This is an unpaid internship designed for students who can receive course credit.
What you'll do#
- Learn coaching skills from human performance professionals.
- Shadow and participate in the delivery of programming and services for our athlete clientele.
- Develop an understanding of the Exos Methodology through weekly educational sessions, lectures, and practicums.
- Receive practical training on movement skills, applications, and program designs.
- Complete self-paced learning modules.
- Gain exposure to sports-specific training, performance nutrition, physical therapy, and sport science applications.
- Work toward earning the Exos Performance Specialist Certification.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in kinesiology, sport science, exercise physiology, exercise science, or related fields.
- Ability to receive course credit for this internship.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
- Eligibility to work in the USA.
- A strong interest in working with active and athletic populations.
