Corporate Wellness Internship - Fall 2026

About the role#

Exos offers a 12-16 week, learning-intensive internship program designed for students to gain hands-on experience in a corporate wellness environment. Interns will work on-site at a specific client location in Scottsdale, Arizona, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. This program focuses on professional development through weekly educational sessions, practical training in movement skills, and self-paced learning modules. Participants have the opportunity to earn the Exos Fitness Specialist Certification (XFS).

What you'll do#

• Learn from human performance professionals to refine coaching skills.
• Conduct fitness tests and evaluations for corporate clients.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of health promotion and incentive programs.
• Provide safe and effective exercise programs and group exercise sessions.
• Gain exposure to injury prevention and on-site rehabilitation.
• Shadow and participate in the delivery of corporate wellness services.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Kinesiology, Health Administration, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Ability to receive course credit for the internship, as this is an unpaid position.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• A passion for working with active and athletic populations.
