About the role#
Exos offers a 12 to 16 week internship program for students interested in corporate wellness. You will work on-site at a client location in Jersey City, New Jersey, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. This is an unpaid internship designed for students to gain professional experience and earn course credit.
What you'll do#
- Learn coaching skills from human performance professionals.
- Conduct fitness tests and evaluations for clients.
- Assist in planning and implementing health promotion and incentive programs.
- Lead safe and effective exercise programs and group sessions.
- Develop an understanding of the Exos Methodology through weekly educational sessions, practical training, and self-paced modules.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's program for Kinesiology, Public Health, Nutrition, Biomedical Sciences, Health Administration, or related fields.
- Eligibility to receive course credit for this internship.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
- A desire to work with active and athletic populations.
