About the role#
As an IT Support Intern, you will join a team that manages technology for over 1000 staff members and 2000 residents. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting daily technical operations and working on assigned projects. This role requires you to be on-site at the Charlestown community in Catonsville.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to employees and residents.
- Handle equipment and complete assigned project tasks.
- Collaborate with IT team members on daily operations.
- Serve on-call for emergency situations or planned maintenance.
- Explain the use of technology and applications to staff and residents in person.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Experience supporting computers, tablets, and mobile phones.
- Experience working within a team environment.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
- Ability to build rapport and communicate technical concepts clearly.
