    About the role#

    Engineering interns work across various functions at Andersen Corporation. You will gain hands-on experience in areas including new product development, technology research, manufacturing processes, and quality control. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship offered on a rolling basis.

    What you'll do#

    • Design and develop components and assemblies.
    • Create new processes, materials, and technologies.
    • Use Lean Six Sigma methodology to improve manufacturing productivity.
    • Gather and analyze data using statistical techniques and software tools.
    • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and standards.
    • Manage projects with minimal supervision to meet timing and cost requirements.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, or Chemical Engineering.
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Experience applying engineering principles.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, and CAD software like AutoCAD.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Locations: Bayport and Cottage Grove, MN; Dubuque and Des Moines, IA; Menomonie, WI; Garland, TX; Goodyear, AZ; Locust Grove, GA; and Luray, VA.
    • Work modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour.
