Part Time Student Server

About the role#

Ashby Ponds is seeking Student Servers to join our restaurant team. This position offers flexible scheduling designed to accommodate high school sports and extracurricular activities. We provide on-the-job training, so no prior experience is required. This role is a paid, on-site opportunity with potential for scholarship support for those who qualify.

What you'll do#

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Greet guests, explain daily menus and specials, and provide recommendations.
• Record and input food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Deliver food promptly and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform various dining room duties, including serving, bussing, running food, meal plating, catering, and utility tasks.

What you'll need#

• Must be a current high school student and at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, carry trays, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Availability for three shifts per week, including both weekdays and weekends.

Location & details#

• Location: Ashburn, Virginia.
• Shift timing: Typically 4:45 pm to 8:45 pm.
• Compensation: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour, based on experience.
