About the role#
This internship is a 10 to 12 week program based at our headquarters in Columbia, Missouri. You will join the Fleet Sales team during the Fall 2026 term, specifically from October through mid-December. This role focuses on equipment rental operations, customer coordination, and process improvement. You will work on-site and support the Corporate Rentals team by managing daily rental requests and analyzing our current quoting procedures.
What you'll do#
- Manage rental requests from a re-rent partner company through Slack.
- Coordinate between the partner company and internal rental yards to facilitate equipment rentals.
- Review incoming rental quotes to identify equipment, dates, locations, and customer requirements.
- Research equipment availability and communicate accurate rental options to the partner company.
- Respond to Quick Quote requests while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with internal yard teams and partners via email.
- Analyze standard operating procedures to identify ways to improve the speed and accuracy of the quoting process.
- Develop and present a Rental Quote Process Improvement Report, including recommendations and updated tracking tools.

- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm preferred.
