About the role#
EquipmentShare is looking for a Technical Writer Intern to join our Learning and Development team at our headquarters in Columbia, Missouri. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work in a hybrid capacity to help build training resources that support our employees across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Create, research, and format training documentation for EquipmentShare University.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to edit and manage versioning of instructional content.
- Upload materials to the company intranet, ES-Ops, and maintain the digital asset management system.
- Partner with instructional designers to develop visuals, diagrams, and charts.
- Shadow and assist content creators across various departments to build professional relationships.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in English, communications, journalism, technical writing, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Experience writing and revising documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
- A professional, friendly demeanor and the ability to adapt to change.
