About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op for the Winter 2027 season at our site in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment focused on supporting the commissioning and qualification of processes and equipment used in the production of micro contamination control membrane products.
What you'll do#
- Support equipment testing and commissioning activities for membrane production.
- Work hands-on with production operators and engineers on the manufacturing floor.
- Collect and analyze data regarding process parameters, yields, and equipment downtime.
- Identify root causes for issues and report findings to the engineering team.
- Design and 3D print prototypes, then evaluate and improve designs for permanent fixtures.
- Assist with experimental trial runs by testing process parameters, gathering samples, and interpreting basic results.
- Help develop standard operating procedures and document site acceptance testing activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled student in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of core mechanical and chemical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with DOE and DMAIC principles.
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- A desire to ask questions to build a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
- Familiarity with your university requirements to participate in a co-op program.
