About the role#
This co-op position is based at our site in Colorado Springs, CO. You will join the Manufacturing Systems and Planning team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment running from January through June. The team manages the intersection of manufacturing execution and system capabilities, and you will assist with implementing new features, developing processes, and coordinating daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with the operations team to ensure systems are used effectively.
- Analyze existing workflows to find opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Help design and validate data structures, user interfaces, and system flows.
- Perform material genealogy analysis to ensure transaction accuracy across operations and quality data.
- Collaborate with global teams to evaluate and implement new system capabilities.
- Support the Manufacturing Planning team with materials and work order management.
- Validate procurement plans to align with finished good forecasts.
- Assist the Inventory Control team with inventory accuracy and integrations between MES and SAP.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with an ERP system, with SAP preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with your university's requirements for co-op participation.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
Location & details#
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
- This is an on-site, paid position.
