About the role#
This is a paid summer internship based in our branch underwriting department. You will learn about our business processes, products, and culture while gaining a practical understanding of the insurance underwriting process.
What you'll do#
- Support underwriters by gathering the information needed to evaluate new business and renewal submissions.
- Communicate with agents and other external sources.
- Develop your skills in analyzing and underwriting risks.
What you'll need#
- You are a business major, ideally with a focus on insurance, marketing, or finance.
- You have completed your junior year of college.
- You hold a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- You have a clear interest in a career in property casualty insurance.
- You possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- You are comfortable using a personal computer for data analysis.
