About the role#
This is a paid internship based in Iowa for the summer of 2027. You will work on-site in a branch claims department to gain practical experience in the insurance industry. The program provides opportunities to learn about business processes and products while contributing to team goals.
What you'll do#
- Investigate, negotiate, and dispose of minor multi-line claims.
- Learn about the company culture, internal business processes, and product offerings.
- Build a working understanding of the end-to-end insurance claims process.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Business major, preferably having completed your junior year.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in property casualty insurance.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and solid personal computer skills.
