About the role#
As a Survey Interviewer, you will support a research study focused on the health and well-being of Ghanaian immigrants living in the United States. You will work alongside experienced researchers to gain hands-on experience in survey administration, participant engagement, and data collection. This role is funded by the National Institute on Aging.
What you'll do#
- Conduct telephone interviews with individuals participating in a research study.
- Complete brief eligibility screening calls to determine if participants qualify for enrollment.
- Administer structured survey questionnaires following approved research protocols.
- Enter survey responses into Qualtrics using tablet-based technology.
- Collaborate with the research team to support study implementation and data collection activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution.
- Academic background in Public Health, Sociology, or Psychology.
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Twi or Ga Ghanaian languages.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
