About the role#
Duke University is seeking an intern to design and execute image analyses of anatomical data. This position supports a collaborative project with Case Western Reserve University focused on dissecting human vagus nerves. You will visualize the vagal complex using multiple imaging modalities, ranging from gross anatomy to microscopy of individual neurons. This work provides data inputs for computational models used to study autonomic nerve stimulation and develop new therapies.
What you'll do#
- Develop an imaging analysis pipeline.
- Conduct image visualization and analyses.
- Analyze anatomical imaging data from human cadaver dissections.
- Support computational modeling efforts using imaging data inputs.
- Contribute to manuscript preparation.
What you'll need#
- Ability to design and execute image analyses.
- Experience in image visualization and analysis techniques.
