About the role#
This position is an entry level role on the Project Management career path. You will act as a unifying agent for projects, providing leadership, decision making, and coordination. You will be accountable for a portfolio of projects, typically those with a low level of risk that impact specific facilities or departments. You may also be assigned projects with specific risk-informed requirements based on your experience.
What you'll do#
- Manage all phases of project planning and execution.
- Ensure project success factors are met, including scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Provide guidance and control for projects in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with various internal departments and external vendors.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field.
- Previous internship or co-op experience at Duke Energy.
- Project-related work or school experience.
- Working knowledge of project management, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making.
- Working knowledge of project scheduling and cost controls.

- This is a full-time, paid position.
