About the role#
The Membership Operations Intern supports the team in delivering experiences for Utah Jazz, Utah Mammoth, and Delta Center event patrons. This role provides an opportunity to learn about sports management, hospitality, and service strategies. You will work from the team offices in Sandy and provide on-site support at the Delta Center for games and events.
What you'll do#
- Support the Senior Operations Manager with planning and executing events and gifting programs.
- Assist with day-of-event operations, including setup, guest flow, ticket scanning, and troubleshooting.
- Track and organize inventory for gifting and event supplies.
- Update project timelines and checklists to keep tasks on track.
- Prepare materials, assemble gift packages, and coordinate logistics across departments.
- Provide on-site support by greeting guests and answering attendee questions.
What you'll need#
- Strong interpersonal skills with clear oral and written communication.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, specifically Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a self-starter in a team environment.
- Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds and stand or walk for long periods.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or Psychology.

- Location: Sandy, Utah.
- Term: Fall 2026, starting September 7, 2026, through the end of the 2026/27 Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth seasons.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Hours: 25 to 27 hours per week.
