About the role#
The Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth are seeking a motivated intern to support the ticketing sales team. This role provides exposure to sports and event management, client hospitality, and ticket sales strategies within a professional sports environment. The internship runs from October 2026 through May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist the sales team with the planning and execution of Jazz, Mammoth, and arena events.
- Support various department sales and service tasks as needed.
- Work shifts that primarily occur during evening events, with occasional standard business hours from 9AM to 5PM.
- Perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in the sports industry.
- Ability to work as a self-starter while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of studies in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Psychology.

- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, with primary work sites at Zions Bank Basketball Campus and Delta Center.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Variable hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
