About the role#
This internship offers students the chance to participate in two to three rotations across different departments. You will gain exposure to Transmission Work Management, Construction Management, and Project Management. The program runs for 12 weeks from May 2027 to August 2027 and requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support transmission groups in the planning and execution of construction activities.
- Track construction production and progress in the field to ensure schedule adherence.
- Act as a liaison between contractors, engineers, and project managers.
- Assist with scheduling, strategic oversight of work plans, and resource allocation.
- Contribute to the leadership and management of projects, including cost control.
- Participate in the design and analysis of structures, systems, and facilities.
- Work with teams to ensure safety, financial, and project goals are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Management.
- Graduation date set for after August 2027.
- Cumulative college GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in engineering, construction, or project management.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in your work environment.

- Location: Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Modality: On-site with field work required.

- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
- Travel: 5-15% travel to project sites may be required.
- Requirements: Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. You may be exposed to mechanical, electrical, or noisy hazards and must wear personal protective equipment as needed.
