About the role#
This is a full-time, paid co-op position based in Rothschild, Wisconsin. We are looking for students to join our team for the Winter 2027 or Fall 2027 terms. You will gain technical exposure to production and support units while working alongside our mechanical and electrical teams.
What you'll do#
- Focus on improving quality control for paper machines by identifying potential problems and troubleshooting issues.
- Analyze production costs and productivity to provide improvement solutions.
- Support projects based on piping and instrumentation.
- Research and develop processes and guidelines for operational units.
- Document findings, decipher data, and apply results to project recommendations.
- Revise project plans, drawings, and materials.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a freshman, sophomore, or junior in an accredited program for Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong technical writing, presentation, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to comply with and enforce safety and environmental policies.
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- A team player attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of initiative, motivation, and dependability.
- CAD experience is preferred.
