About the role#
This internship provides support to the CFO organization, including Treasury, Asset Management, Corporate Planning, Investor Relations, M&A/Strategy, and Segment Finance. You will gain practical experience through a rotational program involving financial modeling, capital markets, and corporate transactions.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing financial models to forecast and evaluate performance for investments, budgets, and tax considerations.
- Support the planning and execution of capital markets and financing transactions, including debt, equity, and interest rate derivatives.
- Help execute merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions through due diligence and pro forma analysis.
- Create presentations for internal senior management and external partners like investors and rating agencies.
- Participate in meetings with internal and external partners.
- Conduct research on specific markets, industries, and companies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program at a 4-year institution in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- A GPA of 3.3 or higher, either overall or within your major.
- Demonstrable interest in finance and a desire for practical experience.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data.
- Strong quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
